“March for Unity” will be held for Red Bank stabbing victim

A march of unity and peace will be held to remember stabbing victim, Larry “Froggy” Yarbrough at 4:30pm Saturday at the Pilgrim Baptist Church on Shrewsbury Avenue.

Red Bank, NJ – A march of unity and peace will be held to remember stabbing victim, Larry Yarbrough at 4:30pm Saturday at the Pilgrim Baptist Church on Shrewsbury Avenue.

March for Unity

The march, organized by the Greater Red Bank NAACP, Pilgrim Baptist Church, and the Count the Children Movement, will be a silent march for peace followed by a ceremony and a candlelight vigil.

Larry Yarbrough affectionately known as “Froggy” was stabbed to death after a confrontation with another man on Bank Street.

Genarro Guerrero-Montes, 19, of Bank Street, Red Bank, and Jose Francisco Olivares-Palma, 24, of River Street, Red Bank, were arrested Monday in Lakewood and charged with the murder of Larry Yarbrough.

The mayor and city council officials plan to attend.
