12-year-old Jersey City boy shot dead in apparent gun accident
A boy playing with his parent’s gun accidentally shot his 11-year-old friend in Jersey City.

A law enforcement source, who asked to remain anonymous, said the gun belonged to a corrections officer.
It is not confirmed whether or not this was an accident or homicide.
Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio confirmed the shooting death but said details are pending further investigation. “We’re not sure at this point whether it’s an accident or a homicide,” – NJ.com
