William Brown, a law student and Democrat who made a successful run the New Jersey state assembly repeatedly interrupted the governor.

As Brown was escorted out, Governor Christie shouted to the future lawyer if he ever acted like that in a courtroom, “your rear end’s going to get thrown in jail, idiot.”

Gov Christie later told the audience he tried to be patient with Brown, a former Navy SEAL. “Every time I tried to answer, he started yelling over me again. D-mn, man, I’m the governor. Can you just shut up for a second?”
