Asbury Park teenage girl shot in leg

A 17-year-old Asbury Park teenage girl was shot in the leg in the area of 1300 block Bangs Avenue, police say.

Asbury Park Police Chief Mark Kinmon said the girl suffered the gunshot wound around 7.p.m. Monday night, and was taken to a local hospital.

No arrests have been made.
