The Wushu Kung Fu Demo was implemented with great success on Saturday August 11th at the Adam Bucky James Center located at 231 Wilber Ray Avenue in Long Branch, NJ.
Wushu Kung Fu Demo
This was the first time the community residents came out to watch their children receive awards for successfully completing various stages of Wushu Kung Fu. ” Wǔshù literally means “martial art”. It is formed from the two words 武術: 武 (wǔ), meaning “martial” or “military” and 術 (shù), which translates into “discipline”, “skill” or “method.””
“The term Wushu has also become the name for the modern sport of Wushu, an exhibition and full-contact sport of bare-handed and weapons forms (Chinese: 套路, pinyin: tàolù), adapted and judged to a set of aesthetic criteria for points developed since 1949 in the People’s Republic of China.”
Every Ceremony Grace Temple introduces new styles and fighting forms to their Great Grand Master Qi Fei Long of the Shaolin Temple. Once introduced, performed and approved they are then blessed to teach it to the public.
Under the guidance of Great Grant Master Qi Fei Long, everything is taught and known from the closed doors of shaolin temple to the open doors of Grace Temple.
With Wushu Kung Fu there is ultimately one fighting system, 66 styles, over 100 techniques per style. All systems are closed door tested within the walls of the temple.
What took years to comprehend, years of diagram writing, physical training and challenges they are blessed and honored to share this momentous historical occasion and system of skills.
