The community came out for President Obama’s Inauguration Day and Dr. King’s celebration brunch given at the Trinity African Methodist Episcopal church in Long Branch.

President Obama’s Inauguration Day Celebration

The people were able to watch the event on television and also enjoy a fabulous brunch.

Mayor Adam Schneider was in attendance at the Inauguration breakfast where everyone participated just as if they were in Washington DC live.

It was a great day in American history to watch an African American be sworn into office for a second term.  People watched as he put his hands on the bibles that was used by President Lincoln and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King.

Church attendees watched as the president and the first lady took their second walk down Pennsylvanian ave.  Tears and cheers were heard by many to see Americans get closer to realizing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s dream of having freedom for all people.  It was a great day for Americans.
