Who killed New Jersey teacher Jonelle Melton? Crimestoppers seeks your help

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect(s) who killed New Jersey teacher Jonelle Melton.

On September 14, 2009, Neptune City Police Department responded to 311 West Sylvania Avenue #208A for a report of a woman unresponsive in her home.

What happened to teacher Jonelle Melton?

Jonelle Melton had been found by a family member who had come to the home to check on her when she did not respond to telephone calls or show up for work at the Red Bank Middle School. She suffered non-survivable injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation

If anyone has information on this murder, they are urged to call Monmouth County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-671-4400.

Monmouth County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and prosecution of any supsect in the murder of Jonelle Melton.
