Long Branch National Night Out:
Once a year every town in the nation hosts a national night out where the community creates a bond with the police force and town’s members so that the community is a safer place.
This year Long Branch’s national night out was an outdoor cook out with games and food for everyone. Organizations like Ribbons of Hope, Safe Kids, Autism Speak and radio station 105.7 also came to support the community.
The fire department came with fire trucks for the kids to play on, fireman Arthur Green stated ” this is all about the kids and making them feel safe in there community”.
Also in attendance was gospel artist Jason Rogers and author Christine Palazzo promoting her children books.
There was food, fun and games for the kids to make them feel more safe and loved in their community and helping the community to trust and count on their police force.
