Black Faces of America at Asbury Park Middle School

To honor Black History Month, the students of the Asbury Park Middle School on February 6, 2014 were presented an assembly by a group of performers called Black Faces of America.

The group treated students with songs about well-known icons who truly represent Black History Month. Their presentation was a journey through time covering all major individuals who had an impact on history and made the perfect path for all people to get along regardless of race which allowed Barack Obama to become our first black president. This journey through time lasted for 45 minutes.

Mr. Angel Kames has been the liaison with the management for ten years in bringing such fabulous entertainment to the students of the Asbury Park Middle School. The students enthusiastically clapped as they followed along with the songs of Black Faces of America.
