Every year a New Jersey town comes in at the top of the list as one of the most dangerous cities in the United States. This year it’s Camden, NJ.
According to FBI statistics, Camden was the most violent city in New Jersey during 2013, among those with populations of 10,000 or higher.
CNN Money reports that CQ Press City Crime Rankings 2014 showed Camden with the highest crime rate in the U.S. among cities that had 75,000 or more residents. Governor Chris Christie commented during his State of the State Address, “For too long, Camden has been one of the most dangerous cities in New Jersey, and in America.”
