A shooting in Red Bank has left two people in critical condition.

As reported by The Asbury Park Press, a man and woman were at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune Friday after being shot Thursday while sitting in a vehicle on a residential street, authorities said.

The victims were shot about 8:30 p.m. on West Sunset Avenue, a residential street off of Shrewsbury Avenue, near Newman Springs Road, said Police Chief Darren McConnell.

Investigation

Charles Webster, a spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, said the two victims were sitting in a vehicle when they were shot.

No arrests have been made, McConnell said.
