Marijuana activist Ed “NJ Weedman” Forchion opened a new restaurant across the street from Trenton’s City Hall and will be offering a certain special reports NJ.com.

The restaurant, called NJ Weedman’s Joint, features a selection of smoothies, soups, salads, sandwiches, chicken and fish entrees and $4.20 specials. Neither pork nor beef is served.
Forchion told the news site the idea for the restaurant came out of his New Year’s resolution to eat healthier.
Next to it will be Liberty Bell Temple III, a cannabis church that will offer members a place to relax. It is an extension of Liberty Bell Temple II, a marijuana dispensary and sanctuary he had opened in Los Angeles.
“It’s good for everyone,” Forchion said of marijuana. “If you believe that and you believe that spirituality, you belong here.”
Outside, a backyard garden will have tables and chairs and become a venue for performers and spoken word artists, but more importantly, it will offer a place for medical marijuana patients to light up.
A 2014 Annual Report numbers them at 3,569, and Forchion said they are all automatic members.
His reason
“A lot of them come to Trenton to handle their medical marijuana issues or DMV issues or whatever,” he said. “I invite all of them to come here when they come to Trenton, have something good to eat and utilize the facilities to consume their medicine.”
