On November 13, 2015 Oiada Int. had done a video conference between the students from Asbury Park Middle School and the students from Ghana. For this session the topic was food. The students from Ghana
did a wonderful visual presentation about the food they eat. For instance, the Ghana students talked about Fufu (eaten with soup), Wakkye (cooked rice and beans), mangos, pineapples, coconuts, and the
use of Kelewele ingredients. Their presentation was done in the form of a news report and was very informative. Besides their presentation, the students from Ghana asked APMS students about the food they eat. The APMS students informed them that they eat pizza, hamburgers, fried chicken, mac and cheese, and candy. From there with little time remaining, the students from Ghana and APMS exchanged cooking recipes. They also discussed their favorite hobbies, sports, and upcoming holidays.
