A man has been stabbed in Asbury Park, reports app.com. The man, whose name has not been identified, was stabbed on Summerfield Avenue authorities say.

Officers were called at 9:18 p.m. on a reported stabbing on the 1000 block of Summerfield Avenue, reports the site. They found an adult man, whom they did not identify, with stab wounds on one of his forearms.

The Asbury Park Fire Department took the victim to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment.

Authorities say no suspect was taken into custody. Police continue to investigate the incident.
