Neptune City, NJ – Learn a new way to bring peace to your communities by taking a conflict resolution workshop. Created by the Alternatives To Violence Project, the workshop aims to deeply connect individuals with others, laugh, share, listen, and learn how to build positive relationships with your family, your job, your classroom, and your community. You will prepare yourself to master new ways to cope with violence. The workshop not only builds conflict resolution techniques and personal growth, but you will also earn a certificate at the end of the session that can be useful on job applications and resume’s.

The Alternatives To Violence Project is a multicultural grassroots organization of volunteers dedicated to reducing violence in our lives, our homes, our schools, our prisons, our streets, and our society. Their fundamental belief is that there is power for peace and good for everyone, and that this power has the ability to transform violence.

The next workshop is a weekend event that will take place between February 26th – 28th, Friday the 26th from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, February 27th & 28th from 8:30am to 5:30 pm at the Neptune City Community Center. The program is ran by trained facilitators who lead workshops at non profit groups, community centers, and prisons in New Jersey.
