Before I begin this article, I just want to say that many things could be compared and why not use it for a learning experience.
For instance, the Dark Knight was compared to the Empire Strikes Back. Both films were very dark in which the villains were both victorious, Darth Vader and the Empire defeated the rebels in the Empire Strikes Back and the Joker disgraced Batman’s name. In addition, now Avengers Infinity War, like the Dark Knight, was being compared to the Empire Strikes Back. Both films were dark and like Empire, Thanos, the villain in Infinity War, was victorious over the heroes.
During the filming of Classroom Close-up, to be aired on September 23, 2018 on the New Jersey Channel, Jozabad Abi-Jaja Caldwell, student from Ghana, drew this amazing picture comparing The Incredible Hulk from Avengers Infinity War to Peter Francisco of the American Revolution. This picture was used for the television segment Project Ghana.
The Incredible Hulk was a strong force of nature born from Dr. Banner’s rage. The Hulk was super strong and powerful and could lift a tank without any effort. Now let’s use Mr. Caldwell’s drawing for a learning experience. He compared Peter Francisco of the American Revolution to the Incredible Hulk. Like the Hulk, Peter Francisco was a very big man for his time. At six foot eight and around 260 pounds, Peter Francisco was a very strong man who earned the name Virginia Hercules or Virginia Giant. His incredible strength was seen at the Battle of Camden, South Carolina where he picked up a 1,100 pound canon so the British would not get their hands on it. You could make the argument that Peter Francisco was the original Hulk.
Spoilers: If you saw the movie Avengers Infinity War, you know that the Hulk lost to Thanos. However, we must wonder how would Peter Francisco have done against Thanos?
