MLK and Black History events in Monmouth County

On January 18, the nation will commemorate civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In the month of February, the nation will celebrate the achievements and contributions of African Americans.

Below are some events in Monmouth County:

Dedicated to the Voices of Justice
Live Streaming from Monmouth Reform Temple
Rev. Semaj Vanzant of Second Baptist of AP will co-lead the worship with Rabbi Kline and give the sermon.
Music by Cantor Clissold, Dan Kahn and Second Baptist Music Minister John Payne.

Dr. Vanzant will provoke thought and ideas to spawn a series of public conversations about whether or not Dr, King’s dream has been made real
