JaShyah Moore, the East Orange teen who went missing after going to a local deli, has been found safe, according to authorities.

JaShyah Moore, the East Orange teen who went missing after going to a local deli, has been found safe, according to authorities.

Essex County officials announced Thursday night that Moore was found in Harlem, N.Y.

“Jashyah is currently safe and is being provided all appropriate services. She will be returned to New Jersey shortly,” Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens said in a news release.

Authorities are scheduled to hold a press conference at 11am EST.

Missing persons case

Moore, 14, went missing after going to a local deli to locate a misplaced a debit card.

Moore’s mother said, after the teen did not return within an hour, she went searching for her daughter and called authorities.

A nationwide search was conducted for JaShyah Moore including the city of East Orange offering a $15,000 reward.
