Authorities seek help in solving Ayres Gray’s murder

Ayres Gray, of Manalapan, was shot and killed on July 4th, 2022 in the area of South Concourse Rd in Neptune, NJ. He was 26.

Ayres Gray, of Manalapan, was shot and killed on July 4th, 2022 in the area of South Concourse Rd in Neptune, NJ. He was 26.

Gray was found in a parked vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead approximately one hour later.

Gray’s mother said he loved his family and friends deeply and unconditionally.

Information on his murder

Authorities in Monmouth County are seeking the public’s help to identify the person(s) responsible for taking Gray’s life.

Monmouth County Crime Stoppers

The prosecutor’s office released information about the victim on Monday, along with an urgent plea to the public for more information that may result in arrest(s).

According to the Monmouth County Crime Stoppers, a reward up to $5,000 is being offered for any information.

Anyone with information related to Gray’s death is urged to contact MCPO Detective Daniel Newman at 800-533-7443, or Neptune Township Police Department Detective Carrier Bartlett at 732-988-8000.
