Reva Sevander and James Bond connection!
Reva Sevander and Bond are both caught in their situations in which their plans do not succeed.
Moses Ingram plays an interesting character in Obi-Wan Kenobi. The character she plays, Reva Sevander, had a very difficult childhood due to the villainous Darth Vader.
What you have to admire about her character is how she plans on killing Vader while undercover for the Empire. Even though she is undercover, she is willing to kill or sacrifice others just for the one chance of getting Vader where she wants him. The ultimate goal, gain his trust, then when not looking, take him out.

Reva Sevander And James Bond
Moses Ingram’s Reva Sevander brings back another memory of a character trying to gain the trust of a villain and then get them when least expected. That is George Lazenby’s James Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. In On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Bond goes undercover to find the head of SPECTRE who is Blofeld played by the late Telly Savalas. Like Sevander, Bond has the ultimate goal, which is to gain Blofeld’s trust and then when not looking, take him and his operations out.
However, Reva Sevander and Bond are both caught in their situations in which their plans do not succeed. For Sevander, Vader knows she is going to try to kill him. As a result, it leads to Sevander fighting Vader for her life. In the end Sevander does not succeed in killing Vader. But she does survive which many cannot say after an encounter with Vader.
Similar, Bond does not kill Blofeld, but his men destroys Blofeld’s place of operation. However, in the end Blofeld gets the last laugh by having Bond’s wife killed at the end of the movie.
In conclusion, I just found it interesting that a recent character such as Moses Ingram’s Reva Sevander can be very similar to a spy such as George Lazenby’s James bond which was released in 1969. That was before I was born.
