A second-prize winning ticket was bought at QuickChek on Parsippany Road in Whippany, according to the New Jersey Lottery. It matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.

A $40,000 third-prize ticket was bought by someone who used the Jackpocket app and spent an extra $1 for the Megaplier option. A $10,000 ticket was sold at Mini Mart Food in Haworth.

There were no winners across the country to hit the $188 million jackpot, driving the top prize for Friday’s drawing to $203 million.

When to play

The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday were: 15, 22, 25, 28 and 69. The Megaball drawn was 21 with a Megaplier of 4X.

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

You have to be in it to win it.
