Hillside Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 49-year-old Veneita Johnson.
Veneita Johnson details
Johnson was last seen leaving her residence in Hillside at 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 15.
She is described by police as a black woman with short hair and a black mole under her left eye. She was last seen wearing a black U.S. Army ROTC jacket, a green and white striped shirt, pink pants and brown shoes.

Family members say Johnson is mute, deaf and suffers from dementia. She often wanders off and is unable to find her way home. Family members say she previously was found wandering the streets of Elizabeth and Plainfield.
