Wilbur V. Martin invited me, Mr. David Wronko, to attend two big events at the VFW Post 1333 in Neptune, New Jersey.

Governor Murphy Signs Gopal Legislation to Protect Veterans

The first took place on August 25. At this event, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed State Senator’s Vin Gopal’s Legislationthat would protect Veterans from being scammed when trying to get their benefits. Unfortunately, we live in a world in which the men and women who served our country fall victim to individuals who pretend that they would be their friend. This legislation would impose heavy fines to these individuals who choose to engage in illegal activities that harm the well-being of U.S. Veterans.

Cory Booker Campaigns for Vin Gopal

The next event at the VFW Post 1333 took place on August 8. This event was attended by U.S. Senator Cory Booker and N.J. State Senator Vin Gopal.

Cory Booker informed those who attended about the importance of the upcoming election for the New Jersey Senate and to re-elect State Senator Vin Gopal. Vin Gopal, I believe, would be running on the platform to protect healthcare and make it affordable to live in Monmouth County.

Asbury Park High School Student: When you are good you are great!

Besides the big events at the VFW Post, I wanted to share with you another great accomplishment from one of my students, Katherine Avila Roman. A couple of months ago Katerine Avila Roman artwork was published in Prehistoric Times Magazine issue 145. Now once again, because of her awesome talent, Katherine’s artwork was now published in Prehistoric Times Magazine issue 146.
