Charlamagne Tha God, along with partners Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan and civil rights attorney and political pundit Bakari Sellers, are set to open Hashstoria Cannabis Dispensary in Newark.
Hashstoria Cannabis Dispensary To Open
The trio will collaborate with partner and architect Rachael H. Grochowski of RHG Architecture + Design on the restoration of a historic building located in downtown Newark’s Four Corners which will house the dispensary.
The dispensary is set to open in early 2024 with plans to evolve it into a consumption lounge later in the year.
This development marks a significant step forward for Hashstoria and the Newark community, breathing new life into a structure that has stood vacant for years.
The team notes this endeavor is an intentional effort to create a cannabis retail environment that not only respects Newark’s history and culture, but also provides an exceptional space for consumers to safely explore their relationship with cannabis.

Bakari Sellers, a civil rights attorney with a deep appreciation for the impact that cannabis prohibition has had on communities of color, shared his thoughts on the transformative impact of this venture:
