Newark Rapper Gunhead shot & killed

23-year-old Newark resident Nyshon Anthony has died after being shot Tuesday afternoon in the city, officials said.

23-year-old Newark resident Nyshon Anthony has reportedly died after being shot Tuesday afternoon in the city, officials said.

Nyshon Anthony shot and killed

Anthony was rushed to a local hospital and succumbed from his injuries Wednesday.

Police received a report on Nov. 8th at 2:40 p.m. of a man shot on South Orange Avenue, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers rushed to the scene and found a man, later identified as Anthony, suffering from a gunshot wound.

According to a report by rlsmedia.com, Anthony was an up & coming rapper who went by the name “Gunhead”.

Information on the death of Nyshon Anthony

No arrests have been made and the investigation is active.
